Yes, Vēmos ID Scan is able to scan all government-issued IDs including military IDs.

Vēmos ID Scan is able to scan IDs from all 50 United States as well as IDs from Canada and Mexico. For other countries, we are able to scan passports from 230 countries and territories.

With the Premium plan, you'll have access to fake ID detection. This allows you to submit the ID to validate against DMV records with additional backup enhanced forensics to check for deviations and counterfeits that don't match with official issue data. If you scan an ID that has already been detected as a fake after being sent in for verification, you'll see a red banner at the top of the screen that says FAKE ID.

The Essentials plan does not include fake ID detection. We have always strived to alert you of a potential fake ID, but it's not a guarantee. Under the Essentials plan, we always recommend a human is looking at the data presented from the barcode scan and comparing it to the front of the ID and the person standing in front of them. If you need to safeguard your venue against fakes, then the Premium plan is your solution.
