Why aren’t Drink & Food Items sending to the KDS/Printer when submitted on Vemos Pay check from POS?
Overview
By default in some cases, Toast requires manual approval before online orders are sent to the kitchen or bar. This means orders will sit in Pending Orders until a staff member approves them.
How to Disable Manual Approval
To have online orders send directly to the kitchen or bar without approval:
- Log in to Toast Web
- Navigate to Takeout & Delivery → Availability → Online Ordering
- Scroll to the Approval section
- Select "Send orders directly to kitchen"
- Save and publish your changes

⚠️ Only disable approval if your team is confident online orders don't need to be reviewed before firing. Some venues keep it on during high-volume periods for quality control.
