Why am I not seeing a card on file in my Toast POS?
First - don’t worry. We aren’t able to open a check in Toast without first pre-authorizing the payment source on our side.
Since payments are processed directly with Toast, the card is stored behind the scenes in their system. So even though you don’t see it on the tab, you can have the confidence to know that there’s a payment on file and the check will close.
