What’s a Tab Pin, and how do guests use it?
The Tab Pin is a new feature we released in our latest build to help bartenders look up tabs with speed & ease in a loud, crowded environment ✨
How it works
When a guest starts a tab, they now see a Tab Pin splash screen prompting them to show their Pin and Name to the bartender when they order.
- Guest goes through the standard opening a bar tab flow
- After the card is pre-authed, they get to the Tab Pin Splash Screen
- Guest shows the screen to the bartender for easy lookup, or says they have a tab open under their name or number
- Guest goes back to the check and sees items added
- They can tap on the black “Tab Pin” icon in the bottom right of the check to pull their Tab Pin splash screen back up for future rounds.
