How to Set Up Vemos Pro Sled with Vemos ID Scan

Your Vemos Pro Sled ships with a Welcome Card inside the box — keep it handy. It contains the QR code you'll need to complete setup. The full process takes approximately 5 minutes

Step 1 — Power On the Device

Remove the device from the box and insert the battery. Batteries ship at 50% charge or higher.
- If the device doesn't power on, connect the included wall adapter to charge it before continuing.

Step 2 — Connect to Wi-Fi

From the home screen, swipe up to access the main menu.
Tap the Systems icon.
When prompted, enter the password: 00000000 (eight zeros) in both fields.
Go to Settings → Network & Internet and connect to the venue's Wi-Fi network.

Step 3 — Install Vemos ID Scan

Navigate back to the main menu and locate CasHUB in the top-left corner.
When prompted, tap Allow Access to grant camera and messaging permissions.
Click the Scan QR button and scan the QR below with the device camera.
The download and installation will begin — this takes approximately 2–3 minutes.

Note: Time & Date sync may be delayed to fix this after setting up hold the power button to restart device to force the sync.

Troubleshooting:

"Terminal not found" or "Bind unsuccessful" errors — contact our support team at 877-388-7872 or support@vemos.io.
Device stalls at 80-95% — the installation has likely completed. Navigate back to the main menu and look for the Vemos icon. If it's there, the download is finished and you can close CasHUB.

Step 4 — Confirm Installation

You're all set when you see:

✅ The Vemos icon in the main menu
✅ The Vemos card inside CasHUB

Pro tip: Press and hold the Vemos icon in the menu and drag it to your home screen for quicker access.
